公文書の年の表記については、原則として元号を用いるものとする。
ただし、西暦による表記を適当と認める場合は、西暦を併記するものとする。
附則
この規則は、平成六年四月一日から施行する。

和暦は連続した時の流れをイメージ的に断ち切ってしまうだけの存在
